The work of man modifies the territory, transforming the shape and the rhythm.
Since 1984, the year in which Nazzareno Pola founded the family estate in the heart of the zone of production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, Andreola has been an active part in this transformation.
Today Stefano Pola continues to manage the estate with the same philosophy as his father, with the awareness that the best protection of the territory is the profound knowledge that Prosecco Superiore is not just a product but a living being: the result of the evolution of the vine, of its adaptability to the terrain and the climatic diversity, of labour which is still completely manual, of a “heroic viticulture”.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, with its fruity and floreal aromas, is the the most well known and sought after spumante in the world. Its history began 3 centuries ago in the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. Since 2009 Prosecco Superiore is identified by the DOCG, the highest grade of quality recognised in Italy, next to which we find DOCG of Asolo and DOC Prosecco, which extend over 9 provinces in Veneto and Friuli Venzia Giulia. The area of production of Prosecco Superiore which extends over only 15 towns, is just a small patch of hilly land but which represents the heart of the Prosecco world and is the summit of its pyramid of production and quality.
